Athens, GA – Athens residents recently chose Locos Grill and Pub (Locos) as the Best Family Restaurant and Best Trivia night as a part of the 5th annual Athens Banner Herald Reader Choice Awards.
Locos is best known for having something for everyone on their menu from salads to wings, sandwiches to burgers and entrees, which cater to every age and taste. With three restaurants in the Athens area, Locos offers a comfortable, friendly environment for friends and families to relax and enjoy a good meal.
“Locos is extremely proud to win this award,” said Jamey Loftin, co-founder and COO. “The residents of Athens, Oconee and surrounding areas have shown us such tremendous support through the years and we’re glad that they enjoy eating and spending time in our restaurants.”
Locos Grill and Pub was founded in 1988 by Jamey Loftin and Hughes Lowrance in Athens, Georgia. The founders opened two more locations in the college town and became a very popular piece of the Athens culture. With the success of the Athens restaurants, Loftin and Lowrance, along with partners Bridger Loftin and Ben Rainey, decided to franchise the concept. Today, there are twenty-five locations across Georgia and Alabama.
